iPadĀ® in Education Workshops
Do you have your own iPad®, and are now ready to use it in your classroom? Do you already have an iPad for your classroom, but want more ideas on how to use it as an instructional tool?
Join RIMS CTAP for a day of fun and exploration in using the iPad as an instructional tool. With the iPad, you and your students can easily create and share content. Teachers can monitor student progress and manage classroom tasks more easily.
Topics covered during this workshop include:

- Exploring Apps for professional productivity
- Exploring Apps for teacher utilities
- Exploring Apps for reference and learning
- Videoconferencing with the iPad
- Using the iPad to access online resources, including iTunes U
Bring your own iPad, as this will be a hands-on workshop. This workshop is optimized for the iPad2, but most activities will work the original iPad. Although we will focus on free Apps, some paid Apps will be demonstrated.
Cost: $75 includes day of training and resources.
