The California Technology Assistance Project of Region 10 (RIMS CTAP) is a public organization that provides education technology professional development services and support. RIMS CTAP has a staff of expert educators with demonstrated expertise in the application of educational technology in instruction who provide training and support in the use of technology to support teaching and learning, and improve student academic achievement.

2006-2007 EETT Formula Grant EOP Report Due!

The 2006-2007 EETT Formula Grant End of Period (EOP) Report is due to the CDE by September 12, 2008. The forms for these reports can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.cde.ca.gov/edtech/eop/.

RIMS CTAP website scheduled downtime

The RIMS CTAP website is scheduled for maintenance this afternoon (Sept. 4th) between 4-5 pm and will be unavailable during that period. Thanks for your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

E-rate Workshops Offered

In September, October, and November 2008, the CDE and K12HSN will conduct four Beginner and four Intermediate/Advanced E-rate/CTF Training sessions throughout the state. These trainings will be available via videoconference sessions in Region 10. For training information, dates, and registration, visit the E-rate/CTF website.

iTELL: integrating Technology for English Language Learners

itell logoRegistration is now open for integrating Technology for English Language Learners (iTELL), a 3-day program designed to prepare teachers to implement research-based strategies that integrate technology in their classrooms. These strategies have been shown to improve teaching and enhance learning for EL students.

Thinkfinity.Org Train the Trainer Workshop hosted by CTAP

RIMS CTAP is happy to announce two upcoming, free, Train the Trainer workshops for the Thinkfinity.org web portal. These workshops, made possible through the Verizon Foundation, will be held on August 27-28, 2008, in San Bernardino and September 3-4, 2008, in Riverside.
