Summer Emerging Trends Conference Canceled

RIMS CTAP, responding to district concerns about budget limitations, has canceled the Summer Emerging Trends Conference on July 30-31.

Instead, RIMS CTAP will be going on the road, providing several two-day, hands-on workshops at a variety of locations throughout the region during July and August.

Learning is often a social collaborative activity and with new technologies specifically designed to promote social collaboration it may become more so in the future. Come join fellow educators from across the Inland Empire for an educational technology conference that will be social and collaborative with or without technology! Keynote speaker Michael A. Peters will begin the day, Saturday November 1, 2008. There will also be presentations on topics ranging from Web 2.0 to Podcasting along with many other interesting sessions. Technology Funding Alert!

With the New Year comes the time to complete the 2008 California School Technology Survey. A collaborative effort of the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) regions and the California Department of Education (CDE), the survey collects data annually to measure progress of integrating technology into California classrooms.
