California Technology Assistance Project, Region 10

California School Technology Survey 2006: We made 100%!

With thanks to all the district and site personnel who counted computers and filled-out surveys, we attained 100% completion of the 2006 California School Technology Survey (CSTS). In our region, 992 schools completed the school site survey, and 70 school district offices completed the district survey, bringing the total to well over 1000 surveys that were completed in Region 10.

CSTS data collection helps measure the progress of technology integration in California classrooms. It is a requirement for several education technology-funded programs and is used by the California Department of Education (CDE) to determine grant eligibility and awards. In order to meet the grant requirements for districts or schools, it is important to accurately complete the 2006 California School Technology Survey.

Again, we want to thank everyone who took time to get this information input to the CDE website by the deadline date! And a special thanks to those who completed well in advance of the deadline!
