With increased concern about safety in our schools, SchoolSpan is offering a grant that would provide a web site module for a district’s web page which is an Anonymous Alert Tip Line free of charge for the next five years as a public service.
SchoolSpan Anonymous Alert is a web-based module that allows anyone in the school community to send an anonymous message to school officials, warning them of drugs, guns, violence, unusual student behavior, unauthorized visitors or any potential student crisis that warrants immediate attention. Information is immediately relayed via email directly to the school principal or district administrator for proper action. The system tracks IP addresses and is a simple process, with virtually no training necessary, to initiate in your district.
