Olympus® Grants for Podcasting

Olympus® is offering podcasting grants for schools to help promote awareness of its podcasting offerings. Schools applying for the grant could win software and the digital media accessories you need to start a podcasting program.

Schools need to develop a lesson plan demonstrating how they would use podcasting in their curriculum. The most unique podcasting lessson plans, incorporating student involvement and creativity, will win.

Grants will be judged based on the following criteria:

* Effective integration of podcasting in the curriculum.
* Effective use of all the resources provided by the grant.
* High degree of student involvement.
* Creativity and fun.

Deadlines

* June 30, 2007 - 3 Winners will be chosen.
* December 30, 2007 - 4 Winners will be chosen.
* April 30, 2008 - 3 Winners will be chosen.

K-12 and special education schools in the US, its territories, and Canada are eligible to apply. Private, public, and charter schools are equally considered. Ten grants will be awarded each year and you have three chances to win. You must resubmit after every deadline to reapply.
