RIMS CTAP Summer Workshops Announced!

RIMS CTAP is pleased to announce several new professional development opportunities for Summer 2007 to be held in locations around Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Workshop topics include:

Marzano Strategies Integrated with Technology: using Inspiration® software to help students understand and diagram similarities and differences and begin to recognize relationships between topics and ideas.

Google Earth - Virtual Voyages and Virtual Field Trips: creating virtual Lit Trips that allow students to explore connections between literature, history, and geography.

Podcasting for K-12 Teachers: providing the skills and tools needed for teacher-created podcasts that increase home-school communication and enhance classroom instructio.

Digital Classrooms: offering the opportunity to explore how technology tools, including projectors and interactive input devices, can support student achievement through effective instructional strategies and improved student engagement.

Data Teams: using real student achievement data and classroom assessments to learn protocols and practical strategies to improve teaching and learning.

Thursday T* with Gregg: introducing novice technology users to a variety of *Technology applications and skills.
