RIMS School districts and charter schools compete for $1.6 Million for Education Technology
On June 11, the CDE released the Request for Applications (RFA) for Round 6 of the Enhancing Education Through Technology Competitive funding (EETT-C). For more information on the newly released RFA and the list of eligible school districts and direct-funded charter schools, visit the CDE website http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/fo/profile.asp?id=1101.
There are over 56 school districts and direct-funded charter schools eligible in Region 10 RIMS (Riverside, Inyo, Mono and San Bernardino Counties). The district superintendents and direct-funded charter school directors have been notified of their eligibility.
The dollar amount allocated for Region 10 is $1,623,444, and because the maximum any district can receive is 60% of the total regional allocation, districts interested in applying should plan on servicing approximately 3,200 students only in grades 4 through 8.
You may download the RFA below, or view it at http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/fo/r5/eettc07rfa.asp.
The submission date is July 27, 2007, which will require interested districts to gear up quickly. To assist you in the planning and writing of your proposal, please carefully review the documents (links) located at the end of this article.
If you are interested in partnering with RIMS CTAP Region 10 for this grant application, we are excited about the prospect in working with you. Due to the individualized needs of each district, we suggest you contact us directly so that we may dialog about customized services we might provide.
Please know that RIMS CTAP is here to support you through this process.
