EETT-Competitive Grant Rollout Meetings
The 2009 EETT Competitive Grant application is scheduled to be released in early April. RIMS CTAP is offering two informative sessions on strategies for developing a quality application, focusing on the criteria, timelines, and guidelines for submission. The EETT Competitive Grant requires a district application on behalf of schools serving students in grades 4-8.
RIMS CTAP is offering a rollout session for new applicants or those unfamiliar with the grant application focusing on the criteria, timelines, and guidelines for submission on April 1, 2009 at 3:30 pm at the San Bernardino City Professional Development Center at the Carousel Mall in San Bernardino. Participants may want to attend the Technology Leadership Network (TLN) meeting and subsequent grant support meeting on April 16 as well, to take advantage of the availability of CTAP staff to provide support and grooming. EETT-C Round 8 applications are expected to be due to the CDE by the end of May, 2009. Eligible districts will be listed on the CDE website at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/et/ft/eettcomp.asp when the RFA is posted. It is anticipated that there will be little change in eligibility or in application criteria from last year (Round 7). Sites funded in previous rounds of EETT Competitive will be ineligible for funding in Round 8.
