BTSA Standard 16 Collaboration

The BTSA ePortfolio Resource Days are designed to satisfy the Technology Standard 16 for participating teachers in the RIMS-BTSA Induction Program.

This course includes an in-depth look at Technology Standards for California Teachers as addressed in BTSA Program Standard 16. RIMS CTAP, in a partnership with RIMS BTSA, presents a professional development process in which teachers develop an electronic professional portfolio to address the technology standards for California teachers as well as BTSA Standard 16.

Outcomes

Participants will create an ePortfolio that shows their proficiency for BTSA Program Standard 16, including the following sections:

  1. Technology Problems and Solutions
  2. Multimedia Presentation
  3. Standards Based Lesson Using Technology
  4. Information Literacy — Resources
  5. Standards Based Lesson — Information Literacy
  6. Data to Inform Instruction
  7. Using Technology to Communicate with Students and Parents

Time frame

Standard 16 Resource Days consist of 4 all day sessions.

Audience

This training is designed for BTSA inductee teachers who need to fulfill BTSA Standard16 requirements.
