The California Technology Assistance Project of Region 10 (RIMS CTAP) is a public organization that provides educational technology support and professional development. RIMS CTAP has a staff of expert educators who train teachers and administrators in the use of educational technology to improve student learning.

Free Workshop: iQUEST Technology in Science Training
RIMS CTAP and the iQUEST Project at Cal State San Marcos invite 7th and 8th grade science teachers to a free all-day workshop to learn about exemplary technology infused science lessons created and field tested by 7th and 8th grade science teachers from the iQUEST Project. This one day workshop will be held on September 13, 2011 at the Riverside County Office of Education.

The Press Enterprise has published a story about virtual schooling in Riverside County. Virtual Schools Allowing Students to Study When They Want focuses on two specific students, and why virtual schooling is the "right answer" for their educational needs. These students do the vast majority of their schooling on their own schedule, with occasional trips to a brick-and-mortar facility for proctored exams and science labs. ARRA EETT Interim Expenditure Report Due June 30
$36 million in ARRA EETT Competitive funds were awarded to 151 California LEAs in November, 2010. The next payment process to reimburse ARRA EETT grantees is fast approaching. To receive the next 30% of the grant award, each district will need to file an interim expenditure report by June 30, 2011.
