Professional Development for Administrators

To support administrators in this era of standards, assessments and performance expectations, RIMS CTAP provides training and support specifically designed for administrators who want to strengthen the professional skills increasingly demanded of them.

AB75 Module III

The Principal Training Program (AB 75) provides funding for school districts to provide quality professional development for school site administrators. AB 75 Module III provides principals with a working knowledge of the use of technology and its relationship to school management, accountability, and the delivery and assessment of instruction to students and staff. In addition, the principals will understand how to connect to, and navigate through, the vast amount of available instructional resources for classroom and school use.

DataTrek

The CTAP Region 10 DataTrek is a customized database tool for the collection, analysis, and reporting of classroom observations. This workshop provides information on classroom observation protocol and hands-on practice with using the CTAP Region 10 DataTrek on a handheld computer. Participants will practice collecting observation data and will learn to create reports.
