iPad® in Education Workshops
Do you have your own iPad®, and are now ready to use it in your classroom? Do you already have an iPad for your classroom, but want more ideas on how to use it as an instructional tool?
CUEtoYOU Presents: iPad® in Education Workshop
The iPad® changes the way teachers and students access the web, share media, and learn on the go. This workshop will cover the initial setup of the iPad®, how to add content to the iPad®, how to make the most of iTunes U®, and how to find the best educational Apps available - including Apps for creating content and media on the iPad®. An overview of mobile learning in the classroom, cutting-edge 1:1 programs, and volume licensing for education will also be included. The session will include a primer on using the mobile version of Google Docs™ (and Forms). Fun hands-on activities and opportunities to explore new Apps are highlights of this session. Best of all, participants each receive a 16 GB wifi iPad 2® to take with them when they leave!
This workshop is presented by CUEtoYOU Lead Learners, and will be held at the West End Educational Service Center on January 26, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
